Our shootout events are like no other! Most 'styled shoot's are for professional photographers, photographing models. At the end of the day, those photos aren't going to mean anywhere near as much as photos of your own kids, in kid-friendly, fun locations!
You will be able to make photographs and memories at the same time.
All photography levels welcome, including beginners!

This is a welcoming, supportive group who are focused on filling their cup, flexing their creativity, learning a new skill and making memories with their little ones.

As a fellow Mama of two and professional photographer, I understand how important it is to capture precious moments that will preserve memories for a lifetime. Together, let's empower you to take control of your camera and create stunning photographs that you and your loved ones will treasure forever in our workshop.

What do I need to bring on the day?
DSLR or Mirrorless Camera and Lens, Charged Camera Battery, Memory Cards & your kids!
How much experience do I need?
Not much! This isn't a comprehensive lesson on photography. So it is best to have used your camera before. But you'll be walking away a step further in your photography journey
How can I manage my kids on the day?
We do everything we can to make the afternoon relaxed and laid back. If you're a little nervous you are welcome to bring a helper (e.g. your mum or a female friend). If you have multiple kids, perhaps bring one of your kids to start with, and book a different shootout for other kids to keep it manageable. Remember - I'm a mama so I get it all.
Snacks will be kept until the end. And the emphasis is on fun! We will allow kids to be kids, and if there is a bit of chaos that is all part of the process and joy of photographing your kids.
What aged babies/kids is this aimed at
I would recommend babies are at least at sitting age, unless you have multiple kids and one is a baby for example who you can wear on you.
There is no upper age limit! Photographing older kids is so important also, just put some thought into how you may engage with them and pick a shootout which is appropriate to your unique child.

✗ You want to learn to shoot something other than portraits (e.g. landscape).
✗ You’re happy with iPhone shot and edited photos of your family!
